1. Introduction

Rheo Agora LLC, d/b/a SharkQuant (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the SharkQuant platform (“Service”).

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account information: Email address and password when you register. Only a bcrypt hash of your password is stored, never the password itself.
• Subscription records: your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, subscription status and current period end, used to give you the access you paid for. Card numbers are held by Stripe, not by us.
• Community link (optional): if you connect Discord, the Discord user ID linked to your account.
• Payment information: Billing details processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers.
• Communications: Messages you send to us via email or support channels.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and interaction patterns.
• Device data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
• Cookies: session cookies for authentication and preferences, plus a first-party cookie recording your cookie choice. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is present on the network, but its script is refused until you accept, so nothing is reported for a visitor who has not accepted.
• Community analytics: we do not build per-member sentiment or personality profiles from Discord messages. That capability is switched off, and it would only be enabled with notice to members.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To send account-related communications (billing, security, service updates).
• To respond to support inquiries.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party services for payment processing, email delivery, authentication, and infrastructure hosting. These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account record for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove the account record itself, including the password hash, the Discord link and the subscription identifiers we hold. We aim to complete a deletion request within 30 days.

Some records outlive the account, and we say so rather than promise a blanket wipe: payment and tax records held by Stripe are retained as its own terms and law require; server and access logs roll off on a short cycle; and backups may retain a copy until they are rotated out, after which it is gone. If a backup is restored, the deletion is reapplied as part of that restore.

Cancelling your subscription and deleting your account are separate actions. Cancelling stops future billing and keeps the record; deleting removes the record. We do not delete the account while a subscription is still set to bill, so that you are never left paying for an account you can no longer reach.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Opt out of marketing communications.
• Email support@sharkquant.ai to export your account data or delete your account. We action these requests manually and confirm when they are done.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service.
