How we publish Insights.
Clear explanations, inspectable sources, and honest limits.
Who is SharkQuant Research?
SharkQuant Research is the organizational byline for this website's educational articles. It does not identify a named human analyst or imply a professional certification.
How the guides are prepared
These guides use AI-assisted research and drafting. FIN, SharkQuant's AI assistant, checks reference links, technical definitions, examples, and stated limitations before publishing a new guide. That process is not an independent human review or a guarantee that an article is error-free.
New guides include a sources section so readers can inspect the underlying material. We prefer original educational and regulatory references for contract mechanics. Our existing archive may use an earlier format; a sources section is not a claim that every article in the archive received the same review.
Examples and market data
Hypothetical examples and explanatory diagrams are labeled as such. They are not current quotes, measured dealer inventory, executed trades, or evidence of investment performance. A publication date is not a live market-data timestamp.
Gamma exposure and dealer positioning are model estimates. Open interest and trade prints alone do not reveal the complete positions or intentions of market participants.
Risk and corrections
Insights articles are general education, not personalized investment advice. Options can expire worthless, and some short-option positions can create losses greater than the premium received. Read our risk disclosure before using options.
If a definition, reference, or example needs correction, contact SharkQuant with the article link and the issue. Substantive revisions receive an updated modification date; publication dates are not reset simply to make old content appear new.
